Kimberly Piet

Actor, Playwright, Instructor, Performance Artist

Kimberly Piet is a co-founder and a co-director for More Más Marami Arts. A community theatre collective which develops and creates new works with emerging artists through creative collaborations and community engagement.

She earned her B.A. and M.A. from San José State University in Communication Studies. Specifically studying Performance Studies: why we do theatre, and the ethics and impact of telling stories.

She an actor, playwright, and performance artist in the Bay Area. She has been actively acting since 2014. Her produced scripts include; "In Good Spirits" (2018), "The Mystery of the Perilous Sales Pitch" (2019), and "Writer's Block" (2020). Her work as a performance artist generally centers on ethnography; often uses contrasting visual and audio cues, monologues, and interview-based content.
